Giant wood chipper chipping forest residue pile at the road side in the middle of Finland. The residues has been hauled from final felling site of bruce.
While cutting the wood the harvester runs the log trough harvester head and all the branches falls to same place. Later the forwarder collects the piles of branches and brings them to road side. The most important thing is the height of the pile. The higher pile, dryer wood chips. The second thing is to keep branches clean without soil, dirt or rock contamination. To achieve this it is essential to use grabber with fingers only. There should not be any bars to connect the fingers! It will collect to rocks!
