知人から譲っていただいた耕運機
A cultivator handed over by an acquaintance
全体的な状態は良いように見えるがエンジンがかからない
The overall condition looks good but the engine doesn’t start
そこでキャブレターを掃除してみることにした
So I decided to clean the carburetor
キャブレターの手前についているエアクリーナーとその取り付けカバーを取り外す
Remove the air cleaner in front of the carburetor and its mounting cover
ボックスレンチを持ってきていなかったのでスパナとモンキースパナを組み合わせてネジを外した
I didn’t bring a box wrench, so I combined a spanner and a monkey spanner and removed the screws.
キャブレターカバーが取り外せない
Carburetor cover cannot be removed
背部でチョークに繋がっているせいだと分かった
I found it because it was connected to the chalk on the back of the cover
チョーク取り付けネジを緩めるとチョークとともにエアクリーナーカバーが取り外せた
The air cleaner cover could be removed together with the choke by loosening the choke mounting screw.
次にキャブレターの取り外し
Next, remove the carburetor
燃料ホースを抜いて固定ネジを外してキャブレターを取り出す
Remove the fuel hose, remove the fixing screws, and take out the carburetor.
簡単には取り外すことができなかった
Couldn’t be easily removed
なんとか干渉部分を調節してキャブレターを取り出すことができた
I managed to adjust the interference part and take out the carburetor
取り外せました
I was able to remove it

汚れています
Dirty
分解して汚れを取り除いていきます
I will disassemble and remove the dirt
Open the float roomフロート室を開けます
キャブの真下にあるボルトをゆるめると外すことができました
I was able to remove it by loosening the bolt just below the carburetor
中に残っていた燃料が飛び出しました
The fuel left inside spilled
中に入っている白っぽいプラスチックがフロートです
The whitish plastic inside is the float
これでキャブに流入する燃料を出したり止めたりします
This will turn on and off the fuel that flows into the carburetor.
次にフロートを外します
Then remove the float
フロートピンという鉄の棒で止まっているのでこれをラジオペンチで引き抜きます
Since it is stopped by an iron rod called a float pin, pull it out with radio pliers.
フロートにフロートバルブがくっついてきました
The float valve is attached to the float
先の尖った小さな部品です
It is a small pointed part
次にメインジェット、スロージェットなどのネジを外します
Next, remove the screws of the main jet, slow jet, etc
最初に外したフロート室のカバーに小ネジ類やフロートを入れてキャブレタークリーナーを吹き付けてつけ置き洗いします
Put machine screws and floats in the cover of the float chamber that was removed first, and spray carburetor cleaner to wash them.
つけ置き洗いしている間にキャブレターの残りの部分を洗浄します
Clean the rest of the carburetor while soaking and washing
全ての穴にクリーナーを吹き付けて綺麗にします
Clean all holes by spraying cleaner
次につけ置き洗いしていたジェット類の穴を掃除します
Next, clean the holes in the jets that were left and washed.
荷札の細い針金を使って優しく掃除しました
I gently cleaned it with a thin wire on a tag
穴を傷つけたり広げたりしてしまわないように気をつけました
I was careful not to damage or widen the hole
最後にパーツクリーナーを使って全ての部品をきれいにしました
Finally, I used a parts cleaner to clean all the parts.
あとは逆手順で組み立てていきます
I will assemble in the reverse procedure
キャブレターを耕運機本体に取り付けました
I attached the carburetor to the cultivator body
エアクリーナーカバーとクリーナーを取り付けます
Install the air cleaner cover and cleaner
全て元に戻すことができました
I was able to restore everything
試運転です
It is the test run
一発でエンジンが快適に始動しました
The engine started comfortably
エンジン音も排気ガスの状態も良好です
The engine sound and exhaust gas condition are good.
ネットで調べてトライしましたが意外と簡単で上手くいきました
I looked it up on the internet and tried it, but it was surprisingly easy and it worked.
