Welcome back to Our Mountain Home! In today\u2019s off-grid homesteading vlog, we start the day by heading over to visit our good friend Mama V from @possumrunhomestead  after church. We give her a hand and haul her old camper over to Steve\u2019s new place before returning home to tackle one of the toughest projects yet\u2014digging post holes for the support beams of our future roof over camp.<\/p>\n<p>The Arkansas ground is so dry and rock-hard that even using a 3-point post hole auger on our John Deere tractor couldn\u2019t make the job easy. After 15 hours of running the auger, we\u2019ve only managed to dig 5 holes! That\u2019s how tough this soil is.
